A month long honeymoon in the south of France changed the lives of two former art teachers. Michael and Amy Helton started Hanover Park Vineyard in 1996, 20 minutes west of Winston-Salem, in the heart of the Yadkin Valley. The wines created have an old world feel and visitors enjoy relaxing on the front porch with a glass of Michael’s Blend or Mourvedre which are only a couple of the wines available at the winery.
Our Featured Wine
July's featured wine is our 2004 Michael's Blend. This blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot has been a favorite of many at Hanover Park over the years. Many glasses have been enjoyed on our front porch, one resulting in a wedding held on the porch. Enjoy this wine by itself or grill a nice steak and enjoy with friends.
