A month long honeymoon in the south of France changed the lives of two former art teachers. Michael and Amy Helton started Hanover Park Vineyard in 1996, 20 minutes west of Winston-Salem, in the heart of the Yadkin Valley. The wines created have an old world feel and visitors enjoy relaxing on the front porch with a glass of Michael’s Blend or Mourvedre which are only a couple of the wines available at the winery.

We are so pleased to have you come for a taste of our newest wine, HP Reserve.  Michael has created a blend using 5 barrels of wine for a total of 116 cases.  As in one of his paintings, he has blended wines from different vintages to create a special new wine.  One barrel of each of the following : 2003 Merlot, 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2007 Cabernet Franc and 2008 Syrah.  One of Michael's pieces is on the label and the cost is $42 per bottle.  We know you will enjoy the best of our Hanover Park wines.
